atic charges cause dust particles to stick to the front screen. This effect can be dimin‐
ished by using the anti-static plastic cleaner (SICK part no. 5600006) and the SICK
lens cloth (part no. 4003353).
NOTE
If t
he front screen is scratched or damaged, it must be replaced. Contact your SICK sub‐
sidiary if this is the case.
Approach

o clean the front screen:

Use a clean and soft brush to remove dust from the front screen.
b
Use a clean, damp cloth to wipe off the front screen.

9.4 Replacing the drying agent cartridge
The S3000 Cold Store has a drying agent cartridge on the side of the housing for
ab
sorbing residual moisture in the housing (see figure 66, page 119).
Saturation of the desiccant is indicated by the color changing from blue to red. The dry‐
ing agent cartridge must then be replaced. The drying agent cartridge is available as a
spare part.
NOTICE
It must only be replaced in a dry room (e.g., in an office environment).
