Acknowledging 'Fault'
1. Press <Acknowledge> before the expiry of t1.
2. Read the 'Fault'location on the display.
3. Go to the 'Fault' location.
4. Rectify 'Fault'.
Example with IC
The following conditions apply for the example:
l 'IC' is activated.
l 'Manned operation' operation mode is set.
l Remote transmission is not available.
w An alarm event activates local alarming and starts the time t1 for attendance
monitoring and the time ts for service intervention monitoring. The time t1 is
shown in the 'Service (Fault) in' status information in mm:ss.
1. Press 'Acknowledge' on the Person Machine Interface or in the event
command list (ECL).
a The monitoring time for service intervention is displayed in the 'Service
(Fault) in' status information in mm:ss.
a The buzzer is switched off.
2. Read off the fault location.
3. Press 'OFF' in the ECL.
a The element is isolated.
a The element is entered in the 'Isolations' event list.
4. Rectify the fault within the monitoring time ts or inform Service by telephone.
a Fault is rectified or Service has been informed.
