Switching a detector zone on
A detector zone can be switched on in three ways:
l Proceed as with switching off, but select the 'ON' command.
l Switch on the 'Zone' via the list tabs (LT). There are 2 options here.
l Switch on the 'Zone' by selecting 'Message summary' from the main menu.
Instructions for switching on in the two ways described above appear below.
Switch on detector zone via LT: Option 1
w You are logged onto at least 'Access level' 2.1.
w The 'Zone' is switched off.
1. Press the 'Isolations' tab.
a The 'Isolations' event list opens.
2. Highlight a 'Zone'.
a The highlighted list entry is displayed in yellow.
3. Press 'ON' in the event command list (ECL)
a The 'Zone' is deleted from the event list 'Isolations'.
a The command execution display confirms successful execution of the
command by displaying .
a The 'Zone' is switched on.
