• New Password
Enter the new password for the selected user.
It must not contain any of the following characters: | § ? " ; : ß \
Note
When you log in for the first time or log in after a "Restore Factory Defaults and
Restart", you are prompted to change the pre
-defined password "admin". You can
also rename the "admin" user
preset in the factory once. Afterwards, renaming
"admin" is no longer possible.
The factory setting for the password when the devices ship is as follows:
admin: admin
Note
Changing the password in Trial mode
Even if you change the password in Trial mode, this change is saved immediately.

Enter the new password again to confirm it.

4.7.3.1 General
Login of network nodes
The designation "AAA" stands for "Authentication, Authorization, Accounting". This
feature is used to identify and allow network nodes, to make the corresponding services
available to them and to specify the range of use.
