4.2.7 Step 7: Setting Time Synchronization
WinCC and the CPU 416-2 PCI are synchronized with the local PC clock.
Requirement
• In HW Config, the synchronization mode "As Slave" is set for the time
synchronization in the AS.
Follow These Steps:
1. Open the "TimeSyncCfg" dialog with the command Start > Simatic > PC Based
Control > WinAC Time Synchronization.
2. Activate the option "PC clock" under "Source" in the "Configuration" section of
the dialog.
3. Once you have made these settings, click the "Start" button to begin time
synchronization and then click "Close" to exit the dialog.
