3.2 User interface - parameterization

Parameters can be locked in the parameter view to prevent changes. In this case, they are
marked with the symbol
. Parameters are always locked in the following cases:
● When the parameter has been set by means of a previous basic parameterization (such
as in the device configuration) and a parameter change would take effect later with an
altered structure.
● For parameters that are generally not to be manually changed by the user, for example
because they are parameterized by other programs (such as a controller).
● For parameters that are generally only to be configured in Startdrive via input screens.
The display in the parameter view then only serves as an overview.
Properties and parameters of the selected object are displayed in the Inspector window. You
can edit these properties and parameters. For example, this means that the non-specified
S120 drive objects – newly inserted in the device view – can be specified.
The information and parameters in the Inspector window are subdivided into various
information types, which are displayed as main tab
① in the Inspector window:
