4.1 Overview
Wall-mounted devices have a modular structure. A wall-mounted device consists of a wall
housing and at least one analyzer module. Optionally, wall-mounted devices can be tted with
option modules
Denition wall-mounted device and wall housing
The following terms are used in the operating Instructions:
• Basic device wall housing
This includes the metal housing with local user interface, built-in processing unit (PU), and
a power supply unit. A wall housing (basic device) is prepared for installation of the analyzer
and option modules.
• Wall-mounted device
This includes a wall housing (basic device) with at least one analyzer module (AM) installed.
Overview of analyzer modules
The analyzer modules are suited to specic sample gas components and measuring ranges.
Various types of measuring methods are implemented.
The following table provides an overview of the features of the measuring tasks of the analyzer
modules.
