7.1 General safety instructions for con󹪝guration change
WARNING
Dangerous voltage at open device
Danger of electrocution when the enclosure is opened or enclosure parts are removed
• Keep the device closed during operation
• Open the enclosure exclusively for installation or maintenance. Close the enclosure after
the completion of this work.
• Disconnect the device before you open the enclosure or remove enclosure parts.
• Observe the special precautionary measures if maintenance is required while the device is
live. Have maintenance work carried out by quali󹪝ed personnel.
CAUTION
Hot surfaces resulting from hot sample gases and high-temperature devices
After being switched o󹪜, the analyzer module or heated device is still very hot and the
temperature only drops very slowly. Contact with skin may result in burns.
• Do not remove the analyzer module until after the analyzer module or device has cooled
down.
• Take appropriate protective measures, for example contact protection.
NOTICE
Damage to the membrane keyboard and the display
Make sure when installing the device that the membrane keyboard and display are not
damaged.
NOTICE
Incorrect installation
Improper installation or modi󹪝cation can damage the device and thus invalidate the approval.
