2.8.7 Setting Notes
General The teleprotection supplement for earth fault protection is only operational if it was set
to one of the available modes during the configuration of the device (address ).
Depending on this configuration, only those parameters which are applicable to the
selected mode appear here. If the teleprotection supplement is not required the
address is set to 7HOHSURW() = 'LVDEOHG. If a protection interface is avail-
able, the additional setting text 6,*1$/Y3URW,QW is displayed in address
7HOHSURW().
Conventional
Transmission
The following modes are possible with conventional transmission links (as described
in Subsection 2.8):
'LU&RPS3LFNXS = Directional Comparison Pickup,
81%/2&.,1* = Directional Unblocking Scheme,
%/2&.,1* = Directional Blocking Scheme.
At address )&77HOHS() the use of a teleprotection scheme can be

If the teleprotection has to be applied to a three terminal line the setting in address
