6.10 Gas supply
GO BF
boilers leave the factory specifically prearranged for
G20 but can be converted to function with G30/G31 using the
"specific nozzle kit" (optional) provided by
Sime
on request
separately from the boiler.
If changing the type of gas to be used, carry out the entire
"GAS
CONVERSION"
phase of the appliance.
The boiler must be connected to the gas mains in full compliance
with the installation standards in force in the country where the
appliance will be used.
Before connecting the boiler to the gas mains, the user must
ensure that:
– the type of gas is correct for the appliance
– the pipes are clean
– the gas supply pipe is the same size as or larger than the
boiler fitting (G 3/4”), which guarantees the minimum dynamic
pressure shown in section “Checks and adjustments“.

Once installation has been completed, check that
the joints are air tight as indicated in the installation
Standards.

It is recommended that the gas line has a suitable
filter.

If the gas supply is changed from G20 to G30 or G31,
mark the box on the TECHNICAL DATA PLATE.
