Digital Emergency
Digital Emergency is used to summon help in emergency situations.
The SDP760 Radio supports two types of emergency modes:
n Emergency Call,
n Emergency Alarm,
n Emergency Alarm with Call.
Emergency Call
If the Emergency Call option is selected, the radio only transmits an emergency call
upon emergency activation.
Press the programmable button to initiate an emergency call. For example, you can
long press TK on your radio to initiate an emergency call if you have associated TK
long press with Emergency On.
You may follow the procedure below to setup of an emergency call on the FPP.
Setup Procedure:
1. Log in to the FPP.
2. Go to “Conventional -> General Setting” and associate Emergency On with a
programmable button.
3. Go to “Conventional -> Emergency -> Digital Emergency -> Selected Digital
System” and set Emergency Type to Regular and Emergency Mode to Emergency
Call.
4. Set the Digital Emergency on to the channel you wish the emergency call feature
to be available on.
Emergency Alarm
If the Emergency Alarm option is selected, your radio only send an emergency alarm
request upon emergency activation.
Press the programmable button to initiate an emergency alarm. For example, it is
recommended that short press TK is associated with Emergency Off and long press is
associated with Emergency On. This is to avoid accidental activation.
You may follow the procedure below to setup of an emergency alarm on the FPP.
Setup Procedure:
1. Log in to the FPP.
2. Go to “Conventional -> General Setting” and associate Emergency On with a
programmable button.
