2. Basic Printer Troubleshooting
Sometimes print problems can be easily resolved. Try the below instructions when a problem occurs.

See 「Understanding Printer Messages」 on p. 3-16 if the red lamp blinks.

Check if the power cord is correctly connected to the printer and wall outlet.

Turn on the printer.

Check if the switch of the power receptacle is turned off or damaged.

Check if other electronic appliances connected to the same wall outlet are working.

Check if all parts are properly installed.

If the problem persists even after above instructions are followed. Turn off the device,
wait 10 seconds and turn on the device again.

「Troubleshooting」 p. 5-1.
