8. Commissioning
To provide safe and proper functioning, a person assigned by the operator must carry out the following inspections.
Address any detected deficiencies immediately. Deficiencies may be remedied by an authorised and qualified specialist only.
Commissioning checklist
Inspections prior to first start-up YES NO
Electrical connections have been carried out correctly.
Mechanical connections have been carried out correctly.
Pneumatic connections have been carried out correctly.
The performance data of the previously indicated connections corresponds to the specifications stated in the chapter, Technical data.
All components, such as lubrication lines and metering devices, have been correctly installed.
There is no visible damage, contamination or corrosion.
Any dismantled safeguards and other emergency and monitoring equipment have been reassembled and checked for correct function.
Inspections during initial start-up
No unusual noise, vibrations, condensation or odours present.
No unwanted escape of lubricant from connections (leaks).
Lubricant is supplied free of air bubbles.
Bearings and friction points have received the prescribed amount of lubricant.
