– D am age resulting fro m removal of par ts, improper repairs, service, main-
tenance, modifications o r use of parts or ac cessories not manufactured or
approved by BRP which in its reasonable judgement are either incompatible
with the prod u ct or adversely affect its operation, performan ce and du ra bility,
or resulting from repairs done by a person that is not an authorized servicing
Ski-Doo Distributor/Dealer;
– Damage caused by abuse, abnormal use, neglect, racing or operation of the
product on surfaces other than snow, or operation of the product in a manner
inconsistent with the recommended operation described in the O perator’s
Guide;
– D amage r esulting from acciden t, submers ion , fire, snow or w ater ingestion,
theft, vandalism or any act o f God;
– O peration with fuels, o ils or lub ricants which a re not s uitable f or use with the
product (see the Operator’s Guide);
– Damage resulting from rust, corrosion or exposure to the elements;
– Incidental or consequential damages, or damages of any kind including without
limitation towing, storage, transporta tio n exp e nses, tele phone
,rental,taxi,in-
convenience, insurance coverage, loan payments, loss of time, loss of income;
or time m issed for downtime experience due to service work.
– And dam age resultin g from studs installed on tracks if t he installation does not
conform to BRP’s instructions.
4) WARRANTY COVERAGE PERIOD
This warranty will be in effect from (1) the date of de
livery to the first retail con-
sumer or (2) the date the product is first put into use, whichever occurs first and
for a period of:
TWELVE (12) CONSECUTIVE MONTHS, for private or commercial use owners.
However, the w arranty coverage period on a snowm obile delivered between June
1
st
and December 1
st
of a given year will exp
ire November 30
th
of the following
year.
The repair or replacement of parts or the pe
rformance of service under this war-
ranty does not extend the life of this warranty beyond its original expiration date.
Note that the duration and any other modali
ties of the warranty coverage are sub-
ject to th e ap plicable na tional or local legislation in the customer's country.

Nothing in these Warranty terms and conditions should be taken to exclude,
restrict or modify the application o
f any condition, warranty, guarantee, right or
remedy conferred or implied under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010
(Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law or any other law, where to do so
would c ontravene that law, or caus
e any part of these terms and conditions to be
void. The benefits given to you under this limited warranty are in addition to other
rights and remedies that you hav e under Australian law.
Our goods come w ith guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure
and for compensation for any
other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You
are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of
acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
