INSIDE THE STORAGE BOX
1. Retaining screw
To install storage box, make sure that
the tunnel surface is clean. Put stor-
age box within the rear rack rails.
Attach using the four screws.
Tighten to 10 N•m ± 1 N•m
(89 lbf•in ±9lbf•in).

1. Anchor points
Two anchor points are provided to se-
cure load in rear rack.
NOTICE
Do not exceed maximum
load capacity of rear rack. MAXI-
MUM cargo load is 30 kg (66 lb).
27) Drive Belt Guard
Drive Belt Guard Removal
WARNING
NEVER operate engine:
– Without shields and belt guard
securely insta lled.
– With hood and/or side panels
opened or removed.
NEVER attempt to make adjust-
men ts to moving pa rts while en-
gine is running.
NOTE: Drive belt guard is purposely
made slightly oversize to maintain ten-
sion on its pins and retainers prevent-
ing undue noise and vibration. It is im-
portant that this tension be maintained
when reinstalling.
Remove the tether cord cap from en-
gine cut-off switch.

Remove retaining p in.

release from front tabs.
