16. Install the wear pad on the top of the cylinder
support. The chamfer faces the platform end of the
machine. Apply Loctite® 242 or 243 (removable)
to the fasteners.
17. Install the extension cylinder hydraulic hoses.
Route the hoses through the hanger on the
cylinder link.

18. Tighten all cable ends at the anchors.
5.2-6 Proper Wire Rope Tension
19. Tighten each hex nut until all the spring discs are
fully compressed, then turn one additional ½ turn.

20. Install the jam nuts on the cable anchors.
21. Install the center cowling on the turret.

Risk of personal injury or equipment damage.
Test equipment operation before putting machine

Manual.
