Navigational Features
The PRO-LINK
®
Edge is designed for ease of use in on-road conditions, in the
service bay, or in test situations. Depending on the circumstances of use, you can
make selections, and move from one screen to the next, by touching the screen
with your finger.
NOTE:
i You can also attach a mouse to the USB type A port on the top of the
device, and using the mouse to click on your selections.
On the touchscreen, you navigate, and make selections, by touching an item or
an icon on the screen.
Screen Icons
The PRO-LINK® Edge user interface also employs screen icons. You touch the
icon to activate the feature or to open a screen. The following table introduces the
available icons.
Icon What the Icon Does
Support • Indicates that Remote Access is enabled
• Takes you to the Support Menu
• Located on the toolbar
Back Arrow • Takes you back to a previous screen or menu
• Located in the lower-left corner of the display
Updates Available • Displays a list of available updates.
• You can install the updates from this list.
• Located on the toolbar when updates are
available
Apps Registered • Indicates the apps have been registered and
displays a list
• Located on the toolbar when apps have been
successfully registered
