4.16.4 How to acquire official STSAFE-A110 samples
The following steps must be followed when acquiring the official STSAFE-A110 samples:
Step 1. The Qi wireless transmitter manufacturer (the customer) signs the Authorized Manufacturer Agreement
and sends it to the WPC to declare ST as its official Manufacturer CA Service Provider.
Step 2. The WPC sends its PTMC code and the Qi ID for the device family back to the customer.
Step 3. The customer sends ST the PTMC and the Qi ID provided by the WPC.
Step 4. ST creates a CSR for the customer and sends it to the WPC to obtain the customer official
Manufacturer CA certificate in return.
Step 5. With the customer official Manufacturer CA certificate, ST can produce official STSAFE-A110 samples
for the customer.
Step 6. The customer product is ready to pass the authentication stage of Qi certification.
Note: Official STSAFE-A110 samples are mandatory for customer wireless power charger certification. Certification
cannot be accomplished with the test profile provided with the STEVAL-WBC2TX70.
4.17 Fan support
This part is optional and can be modified or even omitted, if necessary. The fan control signal is driven by Rx
using STSC commands. Please refer to the STSC application note for the details.
