4.16.2 The Qi authentication procedure
The Qi authentication requires a secure element including two certificates and a digest:
A product unit certificate (or a leaf certificate) which is unique for each device. This certificate is signed by a
Manufacturer CA private key. In this certificate you can find a Qi ID, which is device family specific, a Qi
RSID, which is device specific and a public key corresponding to a private key stored inside STSAFE-A110
private key slot 0.
This certificate is stored in STSAFE-A110 memory zone 0.
A Manufacturer CA certificate signed by the WPC Root CA. In this certificate you can find the PTMC, which
is customer specific. This certificate is also stored in STSAFE-A110 memory zone 0.
The digest is a hash of the above-mentioned certificates. This digest is stored in STSAFE-A110 memory
zone 1.
