6.6 Typical performance characteristics
6.6.1 Power-up waveforms
The following figure shows a typical power-up sequence when the device is supplied from USB PD.
When the digital core is awake and all checks are done, the device switches the USB PD to a 5 V mode and its
Vbuck into a 3.6 V mode to lower the power consumption. After that, the device raises the USB PD voltage to 9 V
and Vbuck to 5 V before each digital ping and returns it back if there is no response to the ping.
Note: The device performs digital ping because there is an object placed on the Tx coil. If no object is present after
startup, only analog ping is performed.
