Event Meaning Consequence
AFE_INIT_DONE The startup of STWBC2 AFE done. Device can begin its functions.
CHARGING_AT_REDUCED_RATE
The Tx does not support the guaranteed
power requested by Rx. Also appears if
Tx switched to BPP only, but the Rx
requests EPP.
Charging started, but with
limitation (BPP, max power)
BAD_NEGOTIATION
The Tx did not send ACK to both SRQ/
0x02 and FOD status packet.
Tx sends NAK
QFOD
Q measurement exceeded the threshold.
Suspect FO on Tx coil.
Return to ping phase.
If repeated 3 times, stop pinging
until the object (Rx) is removed
from the Tx coil.
BAD_PACKET_SEQUENCE
Unexpected packet received. Usually,
this happens when the Rx suddenly
restarts. In such case, the SS packet
arrives during the power transfer phase.
Return to ping phase.
ENTER_NEGOTIATION
The NEG bit in the Rx CFG packet was
set to 1, the Tx ACK acknowledged it and
continued to the Negotiation phase.
Send ACK to Rx CFG packet
OPTIONAL_PACKETS_MISMATCH
The number of received optional
configuration packets do not comply with
the count value in Rx CFG packet.
Return to ping phase.
POWER_CTRL_HOLD_OFF_ERROR
Invalid/unsupported value of Power
control hold off (supported 5-205 ms), or
invalid packet during the configuration
phase.
Return to ping phase.
TOO_MANY_PROPRIETARY_PACKETS
A maximum of 7 Optional configuration
packets is allowed.
Return to ping phase.
WRONG_RP_FORMAT
Invalid format of RP packet (BPP and
EPP uses different RPP format)
Return to ping phase.
EPT_CHARGE_COMPLETE
The Rx asked to stop power transfer by
EPT/cc packet. The Rx charge is
complete (battery full).
Stop the power transfer. Stop
pinging until the object (Rx) is
removed from the Tx coil or for
900 s.
EPT_OVER_VOLTAGE
The Rx asked to stop power transfer by
EPT/ov packet. The Rx voltage
exceeded the threshold inside Rx.
Return to ping phase.
EPT_RX_OVER_CURRENT
The Rx asked to stop power transfer by
EPT/oc packet. The current through Rx
exceeded the threshold in Rx.
Return to ping phase.
EPT_RX_OVER_TEMPERATURE
The Rx asked to stop power transfer by
EPT/ot packet. The temperature of Rx
exceeded the threshold in Rx.
Return to ping phase
EPT_BATTERY_FAILURE
The Rx asked to stop power transfer by
EPT/bf packet. The Rx battery cannot be
charged.
Stop the power transfer. Stop
pinging until the object (Rx) is
removed from the Tx coil.
EPT_NO_RESPONSE
The Rx asked to stop power transfer by
EPT/nr packet. Rx target operating point
cannot be reached.
Return to ping phase.
If repeated 3 times, stop pinging
until the object (Rx) is removed
from the Tx coil.
EPT_NEGOTIATION_FAILURE
The Rx asked to stop power transfer by
EPT/an packet. A suitable power transfer
contract cannot be negotiated.
Return to ping phase.
