4.15.3 Bootloader and boot pin
The pin 49 SWCLK of STWBC2-HP shares the functionality of BOOT0 pin of STM32G071 core. This pin can be
used to force the STWBC2-HP to start into system memory, where the bootloader is present.
To start into bootloader, there are two scenarios available:
The flash memory is empty and the BOOT0 pin is LOW
The flash memory is not empty and the BOOT0 pin is HIGH
If none of these scenarios apply, the STWBC2-HP will start from flash memory.
If the STLink is used, this pin is handled automatically.
The details can be found in documentation of the STM32G071RB and application note STM32 microcontroller
system memory boot mode.
4.16 STSAFE
The STSAFE carries a certificate necessary for compliance with Qi 1.3 and later. If Qi compatibility is not required,
this part is optional.
4.16.1 STSAFE-A110 for Qi Authentication
The STSAFE-A110 is a highly secure solution, which acts as a secure element providing authentication and
secure data management services to a local or remote host. It consists of a full turn-key solution with a secure
operating system running on the latest generation of secure microcontrollers.
The STSAFE-A110 is a companion chip to the Qi transmitter, and it communicates with it using an I²C Interface.
The STSAFE-A110 is preprovisioned with a certificate chain and features the necessary crypto services allowing
a Qi receiver to authenticate STWBC2 as a Qi transmitter.
