Part 2: Administrator Level WSPC USER INTERFACE
69
2. At the WSPC interface, observe the Line pressure reading in the
“Compressor Status Bar.” Compare this reading with the measurement at
the transducer location.
3. If the measurement on the external gauge at the transducer does not
match the discharge pressure reading at the PC, click on the “Admin” tab
to access the Administrator Adjustments display.
4. Under the category “Analog Signal Zero Trims,” highlight the values in the
analog sensor field labeled AI4 (Line pressure input).
5. Enter the value necessary to increase or decrease the Discharge reading
at the PC to equal the measurement at the transducer. The calibration
variance limits are –7.5 to +7.6.
6. Press “Enter” or click the mouse outside of the entry field to attach the
variance value. The variance value will be added to or subtracted from
each measurement received by the controller. The value change can be
immediately observed at the controller and at the PC.
6.5.11 VSD Package Settings
When a VSD compressor is connected to the WSPC, additional VSD related
adjustments are available on the Admin display. See Figure 6.13. These values,
located in the right side of the screen are only displayed when a VSD machine is
connected. In most cases, the factory settings are satisfactory for normal
compressor operation.
