Throttle Body and Intake Manifold
COMPONENTS
REMOVAL
1) Release fuel pressure in fuel feed line by referring to “Fuel
Pressure Relief Procedure” in Section 6-1.
2) Disconnect negative cable at battery.
1. Air cleaner box 3. Intake air pipe 5. Intake manifold 7. Intake collector 9. Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor
2. Intake air hose 4. Surge tank pipe 6. Throttle body 8. Intake air temperature sensor Do not reuse
CAUTION:
This work must not be done when engine is hot. If done
so, it may cause adverse effect to catalyst.
