Air Cleaner Element Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Remove the air cleaner box. Refer to “Air Cleaner
Box Removal and Installation (Page 1D-6)”.
2) Remove the air cleaner box cover (1).
3) Remove the air cleaner element (2).
Installation
Install the air cleaner element in the reverse order of
removal.

Removal
1) Lift and support the fuel tank. Refer to “Fuel Tank
Removal and Installation in Section 1G (Page 1G-
10)”.
2) Remove the IAT sensor (1) and IAP sensor (2) from
the air cleaner box.
3) Disconnect the ISC hose (3).
4) Disconnect the PCV hose (4) and PAIR hose (5).
5) Remove the fastener.
