5B-4 Manual Transmission:
Bearing
1) Remove the gearshift shaft bearing using the special
tool.
Special tool
(A): 09921–20240 (Bearing remover set)
2) Remove the gearshift cam bearing using the special
tools.
Special tool
(B): 09923–74511 (Bearing remover)
(C): 09930–30104 (Rotor remover slide
shaft)
Transmission Installation

Install the transmission in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following points:
Bearing
CAUTION
!
Replace the removed bearings with new
ones.
• Install the gearshift shaft bearing using the special
tool.
Special tool
(A): 09913–70210 (Bearing installer set)
NOTE
The stamped mark side of the gearshift shaft
bearing faces outside.
• Install the gearshift cam bearing using the special tool.
Special tool
(A): 09913–70210 (Bearing installer set)
NOTE
The stamped mark side of gearshift cam
bearing faces the gearshift cam.
