4-48 DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
TP SENSOR ADJUSTMENT
1. Connect a 12 volt battery to the service coupler 1 using the
battery lead wire 2.
36890-28H00: Battery lead wire (option)
2. Loosen the screw 3 with the special tool.
3. Turn the TP sensor 4.
4. Insert the needle-point probes to the TP sensor lead wire cou-
pler 5.
5. Adjust the TP sensor 4 until the output voltage comes within
the specified value.
6. Then, tighten the screw 3 with the special tool to fix the TP
sensor 4.
TP sensor output voltage: 0.58 – 0.62 V
(+ Y – - B/Br)
09900-25008: Multi circuit tester set
09900-25009: Needle-point probe set
09930-11950: Torx wrench (T25H)
7. Check the engine idle speed. (2-25)
