CYLINDER HEAD, CYLINDER AND PISTON
CYLINDER HEAD INSPECTION
• Remove the cylinder head. (4-15)
• Decarbonize the combustion chambers.
• Inspect for pinholes, cracks and other damage.
• If any defects are found, replace the cylinder head with a new
one.
CYLINDER INSPECTION
• Remove the cylinder. (4-17)
• Inspect the cylinder wall for any scratches, nicks or other
damage.
• If any defects are found, replace the cylinder with a new one.
PISTON AND PISTON RING REPLACEMENT
• Replace the piston and piston ring. (4-18)
