ENGINE IDLE SPEED
• Adjust the throttle cable play. (2-22)
• Warm up the engine.
NOTE:
Make this adjustment when the engine is hot.
• Insert the needle-pointed probe to the lead wire coupler
(W/Bl).
NOTE:
Use the special tool (needle-pointed probe), to prevent the rub-
ber of the water proof coupler from damage.
• Connect the engine tachometer to the needle-pointed probe.

09900-26006: Engine tachometer
• Start the engine, turn the starter knob/idle screw 1 and set
the engine idle speed as follows.
Engine idle speed: 2 100 ± 50 r/min
