DRIVE CHAIN AND SPROCKETS
DRIVE CHAIN SLACK
• Place the motorcycle on a block to lift the rear wheel off the
ground.
• Inspect the drive chain slack at the middle point between the
drive chain buffer and rear sprocket.
Drive chain slack A: 35 – 45 mm (1.4 – 1.8 in)
CRANKCASE DRIVESHAFT OIL SEAL
• Remove the engine sprocket. (4-6)
• Remove the bolts 1 and oil seal retainer 2.
• Inspect the oil seal 3 for abnormality (dust, stone or foreign
materials).
• If necessary, replace it with a new one.
