3.11.5 PROGRAMMING THE GENERATOR
The command strings on the following pages are used to control the operation of the time code
generator portion of the TM7000. The command interpreter is "case insensitive" for the ASCII
letters. For purposes of clarity, the letter “L” is always shown in upper case to differentiate it
from the digit “1,” while the letter “o” is always shown in lower case to differentiate it from the
digit “0.” All other alphabet characters are shown in lower case. Subscripted letters (e.g., D

represent a single ASCII numeric character. This example (D

) represents the “hundreds of
days” digit.
