DC Power cables
The DC Power cables section includes subsections:
f100/f200 DC Power cables
f201/f400 DC Power cables
Note: If you lengthen the DC Power cable, you must calculate and measure the additional voltage drop
to ensure that 96 VDC is available at the lasers DC POWER connector under full-load condi-
tions. Depending on the additional length required, you may need to use larger gauge wire.
f100/f200 DC Power cables
DC Power cables for f100 and f200 lasers are manufactured with #12 AWG wire to a length of 1.37 m (4.5
ft). The minimum bend radius for f100/f200 DC Power cables must be greater than 86.4 mm (3.4 in).
Firestar f100 and f200 DC Power cables are wired into a Neutrik NAC3FCB plug that connects with a
matching receptacle on the lasers rear panel. Table 3-6 provides pinout information for f100 and f200 DC
Power cable connectors.

f201/f400 DC Power cables
DC Power cables for f201 and f400 lasers are manufactured with #12 AWG wire; however, DC input cur-
rent is split between two positive (+) and two negative (–) conductors. Firestar f201/f400 DC Power cables
are available in 5 meter (16.4 ft) and 7 m (23 ft) lengths. The standard length is 5 meters. The minimum
bend radius for f201/f400 DC Power cables must be greater than 124.5 mm (4.9 in).
Firestar f201 and f400 DC Power cables are wired into a Canon-type ME3476L14-4S plug that connects
with a matching receptacle on the lasers rear panel. Table 3-7 provides pinout information for f201 and
f400 DC Power cable connectors.
