SLEW MOTOR
Parking brake
Symptoms Major causes Remedies
Cannot release the
brake. Brake force is
weak. Brake drags,
produces noise, heat
• Release pressure PB and valve
switching signal pressure SH are
not generated. Supply pressure is
low.
• Set the release pressure PB and valve switching signal
pressure SH as specified.
• Valve does not operate due to high
drain pressure
• Check the drain circuit for clogging and repair. If drain
from the motor is too large, check and repair the mo-
tor
.
Timing valve does not change over
• Sliding parts are worn or dam-
aged
•
Foreign matter is caught
• A spring is broken
• Repair or replace the sliding parts
• Remove the foreign matter and repair or replace the
sliding parts

Brake piston does not operate
