AIR CONDITIONER
“4. Disassembly and assembly, Air conditioner”
A The outlets temperature cannot be changed
Note:
1. After completion of repair work, make sure to reinstall the connectors removed for inspection.
2. Check if there is warm water at the IN side of the water valve.
3. By referring to the wiring diagram, check for continuity of the lines between the air conditioner harness connectors
beforehand.

urn on the starter switch and then the air conditioner
switch (10R20R3). Turn the attenuator and check if the
voltage changes from 0 to 5 V between the following
wires of Connector (2).
• The green/black and green/white
• The green/black and yellow/black
(See the description about the temperature adjusting
switch below.)

Is
the voltage be-
tween
the green/

Does
the water valve rod in the control box move with
the output of the temperature control dial?

Remove Connectors (1) and (2).
Check for continuity of the wires (yel-
low/white,
yellow/black, green/white,
green/black of Connector (1)) and Con-
nector (2)

urn off the starter switch and remove Connectors (1),
(11), (12). Check for continuity in the wires (light green,
blue, yellow, green/yellow, red/white, white) of Connec-
tors (1) and (11). Ar
e they electrically continuous?
NO
Repair the wir

Check
for mutual short-circuiting in the six wires con-
necting
the motor actuator and the lamp. Is there a
short circuit?
YES
After
repairing, perform a test opera-
tion.
If the problem still exists, replace
the control amplifier (it could be dam-
aged by short-cir
cuiting)
