UPS EVO DSP PLUS Modular 69 User’s manual
We advise you to follow the steps below explained:
1. Connect the Main Input Line, paying attention to the right polarity, as explained below (see Figure 9.9, 9.10
and 9.11):
Connect Main Input Line GROUND wire to the GROUND G terminal.
Connect Main Input Line R (Phase L1) wire to the Main INPUT Block R terminal.
Connect Main Input Line S (Phase L2) wire to the Main INPUT Block S terminal.
Connect Main Input Line T (Phase L3) wire to the Main INPUT Block T terminal.
Connect Main Input Line N (NEUTRAL) wire to the Main INPUT Block N terminal.
2. Connect the Bypass Input Line, paying attention to the right polarity, as explained below (see Figure 9.9,
9.10 and 9.11):
Connect Bypass Input Line GROUND wire to the GROUND G terminal.
Connect Bypass Input Line R (Phase L1) wire to the Bypass INPUT Block R terminal.
Connect Bypass Input Line S (Phase L2) wire to the Bypass INPUT Block S terminal.
Connect Bypass Input Line T (Phase L3) wire to the Bypass INPUT Block T terminal.
Connect Bypass Input Line N (NEUTRAL) wire to the Bypass INPUT Block N terminal.
3. Connect the OUTPUT Line, paying attention to the right polarity, as explained below (see Figure 9.9, 9.10
and 9.11):
Connect Output Line GROUND wire to the GROUND G terminal.

Connect Output Line S (Phase L2) wire to the Output Block S terminal.
Connect Output Line T (Phase L3) wire to the Output Block T terminal.
Connect Output Line N (NEUTRAL) wire to the Output Block N terminal.
The instructions below describe the operations to correctly connect the UPS to an
external Battery Box supplied by Tecnoware.
We suggest to use ONLY Battery Box supplied by TECNOWARE. TECNOWARE declines any
responsibilities if this rule is not followed.
Before starting whichever operation be sure that the Battery Breaker of Battery Box is
in “OFF” position.
4. ONLY IF AN EXTERNAL BATTERY BOX NEEDS TO BE CONNECTED: proceed with the connection of external
Battery Box through the following operations (see Figure 9.9, 9.10 and 9.11):
Connect the BAT-N terminal of the UPS to the BAT-N terminal of the Battery Box, by using the cable
supplied with the Battery Box.
Connect the BAT+ terminal of the UPS to the BAT+ terminal of the Battery Box, by using the cable
supplied with the Battery Box.
Connect the BAT- terminal of the UPS to the BAT- terminal of the Battery Box, by using the cable supplied
with the Battery Box.
