Signal Path Compensation
Signal Path C ompensation (SP C) corrects for DC inaccuracies caused by temperature variations and/or long-term drift. Run
the compensation whenever the ambient temperature has changed by more than 10 °C (18 °F) or once a week if you use
vertical settings of 5 mV/division or less (or immediately after running the Self Test routine on the instrument). Failure to do
so may result in the instrument not meeting warranted performance levels at those volts/div settings.
To compensate the signal path:
1. Warm up the oscilloscope for at least
20 minutes. Remove all input signals
(probes and cables) from channel inputs.
Input signals with AC components adversely
affect SPC.
2. Push Utility.
3. Push Utility Page.
