14.4 Device Positioning
For a correct photometric analysis, the device must be positioned correctly with respect to
the vehicle being tested.
Proceed as follows:
1. Position the device in front of the vehicle, at approx. 20 - 40 cm.
2. Set the optical box at the same height as the headlight, trying to align the optical centres.
NOTES:
For this operation you can use the centimetre scale on the column and the laser pointers
installed on the optical box.
These laser pointers are powered ON and OFF via software.
