14.5 Alignment with the Vehicle
For a correct photometric analysis, the device and vehicle must be properly aligned.
Proceed as follows:
1. Find two symmetrical elements in the front part of the vehicle, to be used as reference
points (e.g. vehicle body parts or the headlights themselves).
2. Turn on the adjustable laser pointer using the specific button.
3. Adjust the laser pointer towards the selected reference points.
4. Rotate the optical box until the beam projected by the pointer touches both reference
points.
