16.1 Adjustable Laser Pointer Battery Replacement
The adjustable laser pointer is powered by 3 AA 1.5 V batteries.
The batteries must be replaced when the intensity of the laser beam decreases.
Proceed as follows:
1. Turn off the adjustable laser pointer.
2. Remove the screws on the sides of the laser ON button.
3. Carefully remove the cover where the ON button is
installed.
Pay the utmost attention not to damage the
electrical connections.
4. Carefully remove the battery-housing slide.
5. Replace the batteries with new ones of the same size
and voltage, being careful to respect the polarity.
6. Close the adjustable laser pointer, being careful not to
damage any electrical connection.
