Turning On/Off the Receiver
Toturnonthe receiver,pressandholdthepowerbuttonuntiltheLEDsbrieflyflash.Whenthereceiveristurnedon,thereceiver’s
channelsinitializeandbegintrackingallvisiblesatellitesatanytimeandlocation.
Toturnoffthereceiver,pressandholdthepowerbuttonformorethan
threeandlessthan10seconds(releasethepowerbutton
whentheBATTLEDblinkssolidred).Thisdelaypreventsthereceiverfrombeingturnedoffbymistake.
Using Internal and External Power Sources
Thereceiverispoweredbythedetachablebatteriesoranexternalpowersourceconnectedtoth epowerport.Ifanexternalpower
sourceisconnected,thereceiverdrawspowerfromitoverthebattery.
Thereceiverwilldrawasmallamountofpowerfromthebatterieswhenitisturnedoff.Ifthe receiveris
placedinstorageforalongperiod,suchasafewmonths,thebatteriesmaybecomefullydischarged.Youwill
needtouseanexternalpowersupplyorrechargethe
batteriesbeforeuse.
