7. Start the mounting screws into the holes and tighten each until
firm. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Use a cross (X) pattern to
tighten screws.

Over tightening may distort the Transducer metallic
material and may crack the Retaining Ring. Use of the "O"-
Ring assures tightness while preventing vibration from
loosening the Mounting Screws.

DO NOT use Loctite® on the mounting screws. Loctite®
will attack the plastic retaining ring.
8. Make sure there are no visible wrinkles in the metallic surface
inside the Transducer. If distortion is evident, repeat Steps 5
through 8.
9. Place a NEW Filter Foam over the Transducer. The Sonic Tracker
II is now ready to return to operation.
