Finally, if the traction pedal does not return to neutral, repair or adjust it.

Leaking or damaged seals on the 4WD manifold PD1 and PD2 pilot directional valves could also be the cause; repair or replace them.

Check for binding lift arm pivots and free or repair them if necessary. Other potential issues include a stuck relief valve in the lift/lower control valve (repair or replace), a damaged or sticking pilot valve in the lift/lower control valve (repair or replace), damaged lift cylinder(s) (repair or replace), or an inefficient gear pump section for the lift/lower control valve (repair or replace).
