Removeapproximately1inch(25mm)ornomorethan
1/3ofthegrassbladewhencutting.Inexceptionally
lushanddensegrass,youmayhavetoraisethe
height-of-cuttothenextsetting.

Moweitherinthelatemorningtoavoidthedew ,which
causesgrassclumping,orinlateafternoontoavoidthe
damagethatcanbecausedbydirectsunlightonthe
sensitive,freshlymowedgrass.
MowatProperIntervals
Undermostnormalconditionsyouwillneedtomow
approximatelyevery4-5days.Butremember,grass
growsatdifferentratesatdifferenttimes.Thismeans
thatinordertomaintainthesameheight-of-cut,which
isagoodpractice,youwillneedtocutmorefrequently
inearlyspring;asthegrassgrowthrateslowsinmid
summer,cutonlyevery8-10days.Ifyouareunableto
mowforanextendedperiodduetoweatherconditions
orotherreasons,mowrstwiththeheight-of-cutata
highlevel;thenmowagain2-3dayslaterwithalower
heightsetting.
Transporting
Usethetransportlatcheswhentransportingoverlong
distances,roughterrain,orwhentrailering.

CuttingUnitPitch
Cuttingunitpitchisthedifferenceinheight-of-cut
fromthefrontofthebladeplanetothebackofthe
bladeplane.Abladepitchof.300inch(7.6mm)is
recommended.Apitchlargerthan.300inch(7.6mm)
willresultinlesspowerrequired,largerclippings,and
apoorerqualityofcut.Apitchlessthan.300inch
(7.6mm)willresultinmorepowerrequired,smaller
clippingsandabetterqualityofcut.
