•Useafunnelandllthefueltankoutdoors,in
anopenarea,whentheengineisoffandiscold.
Wipeupanyfuelthatspills.
•Donotllthefueltankcompletelyfull.Addfuel
tothefueltankuntilthelevelis1inch(25mm)
belowthebottomofthellerneck.Thisempty
spaceinthetankallowsthefueltoexpand.
•Neversmokewhenhandlingfuel,andstayaway
fromanopenameorwherefuelfumesmaybe
ignitedbyaspark.
•Storefuelinaclean,safety-approvedcontainer
andkeepthecapinplace.

ServiceInterval:Every1,000hours—Drainandclean
thefueltank.
Drainandcleanthefueltankevery1000hours.
Also,drainandcleanthetankiffuelsystembecomes
contaminatedorifthemachinewillbestoredforan
extendedperiodoftime.Usecleanfueltoushout
thetank.

ServiceInterval:Every500hours—Inspectthefuel
linesandconnections.
Checkthefuellinesandconnectionsevery500hours
oryearly,whichevercomesrst.Inspectthemfor
deterioration,damage,orlooseconnections.
ServicingtheWaterSeparator
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Drainthe
waterseparator
Every500hours—Replacethe
fuel/waterseparatorelement.
