ServicingtheAirCleanerFilter
1.Beforeremovingthelter,uselowpressure
air(40psi,cleananddry)tohelpremovelarge
accumulationsofdebrispackedbetweenoutsideof
primarylterandthecanister.Avoidusinghigh
pressureairwhichcouldforcedirtthroughthelter
intotheintaketract.Thiscleaningprocessprevents
debrisfrommigratingintotheintakewhenthe
primarylterisremoved.
2.Removetheprimarylter(
Figure57).Cleaningof
theusedelementisnotrecommendedduetothe
possibilityofdamagetotheltermedia.Inspectthe
newlterforshippingdamage,checkingthesealing
endofthelterandthebody.Donotuseadamaged
element.Donotremovethesafetylter(Figure58).
