ProcedureforTractionCircuitChargePressureTest
CAUTION
Preventpersonalinjuryand/ordamagetoequipment.Readall
WARNINGS,CAUTIONSandPrecautionsforHydraulicTestingatthe
beginningofthissection.
1.Makesurehydraulicoilisatnormaloperatingtemperaturebyoperating
themachineforapproximatelyten(10)minutes.Makesurethehydraulic
reservoirisfull.
2.Parkmachineonalevelsurfacewiththecuttingdecksloweredandoff.Make
surehydraulicoilisatnormaloperatingtemperature,engineisOFF ,the
parkingbrakeisengagedandthehydraulicreservoirisfull.

7.Stopengineandrecordtestresults.
8.Ifthereisnopressureorpressureislow,checkforthefollowing:
A.Restrictioningearpumpintakeline.
B.Chargereliefvalveinpistonpumpisleaking(seePiston(Traction)Pump
Service(page5–107)).
C.Ifnecessary,checkforinternalwearordamageinthethirdgearpump
section(seeGearPumpFlow(UsingT esterwithPressureGauge&Flow
Meter)(page5–82)).
