LiftCircuit(5610-D)
A4-sectiongearpumpiscoupledtothepiston(traction)pump.Thegearpump
section(P4)supplieshydraulicowtotheliftcontrolmanifoldandultimatelyfor
theliftcylinders.Thegearpumptakesitssuctionfromthehydraulicreservoir.
Theliftcontrolmanifoldincludes4electricallyoperatedsolenoidvalves.The
solenoidreliefvalve(SVRV)locatedintheliftcontrolmanifoldlimitstheliftcircuit
pressureto13,800kPa(2,000psi).Thevalve(SVRV)isusedtodirectgear
pumpowtotheliftcylinderswhenenergizedorbypasspumpowbacktothe
reservoirwhende-energized.Thevalve(SV2)isusedtodirectuidowto
retracttheliftcylinderswhenenergizedorextendthemwhende-energized.The
valve(SV1)allowshydraulicowtothefrontliftcylinderswhenenergized.The
valve(SV3)allowshydraulicowtotherearliftcylinderswhenenergized.
TheliftcircuitpressurecanbemonitoredattheliftcontrolmanifoldportG4.
TheToroElectronicController(TEC)usesinputsfromvariousmachineswitches
todeterminewhentheliftmanifoldsolenoidvalves(SV1,SV2,SV3,andSVRV)
aretobeenergized.TheTECalsoprovidesapartialraisepositionofthefront
outsidecuttingunits.
Duringtheconditionsofnotraisingorloweringthecuttingunits(joystickinthe
neutral(center)position),all4liftmanifoldsolenoidvalves(SV1,SV2,SV3,and
SVRV)arede-energized.Thehydraulicowfromthegearpumpsection(P4)
bypassestheliftcylinderstotheoilcoolerandthentothehydraulicreservoir.
RaisetheCuttingUnits
Whenthejoystickismovedtotheraisepositionwiththeenginerunning,the
solenoidvalve(SVRV)energizesalongwithsolenoidvalves(SV1),(SV2),and
(SV3).TheenergizedsolenoidvalvesdirectgearpumpsectionP4uidowto
therodendoftheliftcylinders.Thehydraulicpressureagainsttherodsideofthe
cylinderscausestheshaftstoretract,andraisesthecuttingunits.Fixedorices
intheliftcontrolmanifold(C1L,C4L,C5L,andC23L)controltheliftingspeedby
providingarestrictionforthereturnowfromtheliftcylinders.
Whenthejoystickisreturnedtotheneutral(center)position,thesolenoidvalves
arede-energizedandtheliftcylinders(andcuttingunits)areheldintheraised
position.Pilotedcheckvalvesintheliftcontrolmanifold(C1L,C4L,C5L,and
C23L)preventtheliftcylinders(andcuttingunits)fromdroppingaftertheyhave
beenraised.
