1.Parkthemachineonacleanandlevelsurface,lowerthecuttingunits,shut
offtheengine,settheparkingbrake,andremovethekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Removethecuttingunitfromthemachineandplaceonalevelworking
surface.Usecuttingunitkickstand(referto(page))toraisethefrontroller
fromtheworksurface.
3.Loosentheangenutandcapscrewthatsecurethefrontrollershaftto
eachfrontheight-of-cut(roller)bracket.
4.Ononeoftheheight-of-cut(roller)brackets,dothefollowing:
A.Removetheangenutandcarriagescrewthatsecurethebracketto
thecuttingunitsideplate.
B.Removetheheight-of-cut(roller)bracketfromthecuttingunit.
5.Slidethefrontrollerassemblyfromtheremainingheight-of-cut(roller)
bracketonthecuttingunit.
6.Ifnecessary,removethesecondheight-of-cut(roller)bracketfromthecutting
unit.
InstallingtheFrontRoller
1.Placethecuttingunitonalevelworkingsurfaceandusecuttingunit
kickstandtosupportthecuttingunit;referto(page).
2.Inspecttheconditionofthecapscrews(item1)inbothheight-of-cut(roller)
brackets.Replacethebolt(s)ifnecessary:
A.Placethe2atwashersonboltandthreadtheangenutontotheboltto
aposition19mm(0.750inch)fromscrewhead.
