•Themow/backlapleverforthefrontcuttingunits(MR2/MV2)
isnotrotatedfully.
•AnelectricalproblemexiststhatpreventsMSV2/SP2
solenoidcoilonthemowcontrolmanifoldfrombeing
energized(refertoTroubleshooting(page7–26)orthe
ElectricalSchematicandWireHarnessDrawings/Diagrams
inAppendixA(pageA–1)).
•Thefrontcuttingreel(s)is(are)binding.
•Thegearpumpsection(P2)iswornordamaged.
Bothrearcuttingreelmotorsdonotoperatebutfrontcutting
reelmotorsoperate.
•ThesolenoidvalveMSV1/SP1onthemowcontrolmanifold
isdamaged.
Note:ThesolenoidvalvesMSV1/SP1andMSV2/SP2are

•Tractionspeedandcuttingconditions(e.g.,verytallorwet
grass)exceedcuttingunitcapacity.
•Thecross-overreliefvalveinthecuttingreelmotoris
stuckordamaged.(Reelmaster5510/5510-D/5610/5610-D
machines)
•Thecuttingreelmotoriswornordamaged.
•Thecuttingreelmotorhasinternalleakage(bypassinguid).
•Thegearpumpsection(P2orP3)iswornordamaged.
Note:Ifappropriate,transferasuspecteddamagedmotor
toanothercuttingreel.Ifproblemfollowsthemotor,motor
needstoberepairorreplacement.
