IMPORTANT
Clampingthevisejawsagainsttheshaftsurfacecoulddamagethe
shaft.Whensecuringtheshaftinavise,clamptheshaftclevisonly.
3.Mounttheshaftinavisebyclampingontheclevisoftheshaft,anddothe
followingsteps:
A.Putacoatingofcleanhydraulicuidontheshaft.
B.Slidetheheadontotheshaft.
Note:Ensurethatyoudonotdamagetheseals.
C.Installthepistonontotheshaftandsecurethepistonwiththelocknut.
Torquethelocknutto54N∙m(40ft-lb).
D.Removetheshaftfromthevise.
IMPORTANT
Whenyouclamptheliftcylinderinavise,clamptheclevisendof
thebarrelonlytopreventdamage.
4.Mountthebarrelinavisebyclampingontheclevisendofthebarrel.
IMPORTANT
Wheninstallingtheheadintothebarrel,paycarefulattentiontothe
retainingringslotinthebarreltoensurethatthepistonandhead
sealsdonotlodgeintheslot.
5.Putalightcoatingofcleanhydraulicuidonallinternalparts.Carefullyslide
thepiston,shaft,andheadassemblyintothebarrel.
Note:Donotdamagethesealsduringassembly.
6.Securetheheadinthebarrelwithretainingringasfollows:
A.Aligntheretainingringholeintheheadwiththeaccessslotinthebarrel.
B.Inserttheretainingringhookintotheholeandrotatetheheadclockwise
untiltheretainingringiscompletelypulledintothebarrelandthering
endsarecovered.
C.Applysiliconesealertothebarrelaccessslot.
